Heal The Past. Transform and Claim The Future.
Each one of us has wise and loving ancestors who are ready to support and guide us. This is true even if we have challenging and painful experiences with our families of origin, know little or nothing about our genealogy, or are adopted.
By connecting and relating to our ancestors in a conscious way, we have the opportunity to experience a deep sense of wholeness and belonging and to transform and heal personal and inter-generational patterns, challenges and traumas. Empowered with an understanding of who and where we come from, we can more fully receive and embody the blessings and gifts that are unique to our family lineages and better fulfill our personal destinies.
I would be honored and delighted to support you and your people for personal, family and greater cultural healing.

About You:
I welcome people from different ancestries, cultures and a wide spectrum of experiences. I am especially passionate about supporting:
- People who are going through big life transitions and states of emergence and transformation.
- People of Asian descent, especially Chinese diaspora folks, including those who have had an easy and good connection with family as well as those who are somehow feel orphaned or disconnected from family and/or culture but who are ready to reclaim both from an empowered stance and on mutually beneficial terms.
- People who, despite having had life history that includes challenging and traumatic experiences, have already been quite impactful or successful by the world's standards. (How much more impact might we have from a place of wholeness?)
- People who have cross-cultural and/or multi-cultural backgrounds or lived experiences.
- Emergent and existing community leaders and changemakers who are ready to take the next big step for themselves and the world in order to meet the challenges of the times.
- Young adults who seek support and mentorship from elders because they are disconnected from parents and/or families.
About Me:
First and foremost, I sing praise to my most important teachers: the beloved ancestors, including my parents, grandparents and all of the ones who came before them. Despite being the family outcast and rebelling early on, I am blessed to have been able to heal many layers in the rift and disconnection between myself and family. And even though family life was challenging for me as a young person, today I have deep gratitude because I was born into a culture where relating to my ancestors was both natural and essential, and where I had the opportunity to engage in ancestral reverence practices since childhood.
I have been immersed in my own ancestral healing and the reclamation of Chinese ritual and ancestral reverence practices for 15+ years. I am a student of Chinese ritual and culture, Buddhism, Taoism, and Chinese folk religion and have also studied with Daniel Foor, PhD. I am especially interested in reclaiming Chinese ritual and ancestral practices so that they are mutually beneficial (to both the living and the dead) and free from the influences of patriarchy, sexism, and undue guilt, fear, and rigidity. I am grateful to have gone from feeling orphaned and lost to reclaiming home for myself within family and culture. My passion is to support others in finding their way home--back to themselves, their families, their cultures, and the world.
My people are most recently from Guangdong and Taiwan. I was born in Chile on the lands of the Mapuche and currently live on Ohlone lands, also known as San Francisco, California. I have been immensely blessed to have spent my childhood and young adulthood living in a variety of places around the world. I speak basic conversational Mandarin and Cantonese and have native fluency in Spanish.
As a multicultural person who is part of the Chinese diaspora, my life-long curiosity about what 'home' and 'belonging' has informed a great deal of my life as well as professional vocation. One of my most important quests has been to explore the ways we might find a sense of belonging, ease, joy, and connection in our bodies, within our relationships, with our families and communities, and with the world at large.
I am most interested in personal and collective liberation, how we belong and are beholden to one another, and how these intersect. As a result, I have an abiding and perhaps uncommon desire to talk about things that many people might prefer to avoid -- love, sex, trauma, and death. It is my deep belief that if we feel at home in our bodies and within ourselves, we might then have a chance to find our right place in the world and to be in right relationship with the human and other-than-human peoples in our lives.
My work is my great love and my form of activism. It is also compassionate and trauma- and consent-informed.
